How a 22-Year Old Ex-Student of GHA Broke an International Record
Around March this year, there was a news report of an overall winner, a 22- year old graduate of Law from University of Ilorin who wrote her name in gold in a keenly contested continental essay writing competition organized by UONGOZI Institute of Tanzania for Young Africans aged between 18-25, titled “2023 Youth Leadership Competition” and was competed by 30 African countries including the United Kingdom and India for young Africans in the diaspora.
It’s soothing to note that this International winner was a daughter of the soil; our very own product; a graduate of Great Heights Academy (2016 Set). She defeated over 1150 participants across the African Continent to achieve this feat.
The competition was organized to encourage young Africans on their writing and leadership skills. She went home with the Prize tag of Two Thousand US Dollar for the competition.
